Service depots a buyer can check, not a wall of logos

Y.Emre Konar · manufacturer service depot page

A manufacturer’s service page is a depot a buyer can check: city, what they are allowed to do, and separate notes for faults and parts. A logo wall is not a depot.

After the machine is sold, a buyer looks for the list of places that can help. A sales dealer and a service depot are not the same row. HED Creative builds the list from the depots you supply. A depot is not invented. Berlin and Ankara work from the same table.

A logo is not a depot

A city name and a logo do not mean a technician is there. The record holds the city or the area, the work they are allowed to do, and who to write to. If there is no authorisation, the row does not open. A closed depot does not stay on the list as a dead address.

What the buyer can check

The buyer checks whether their city is on the list, and whether that depot takes a fault or a part. If both are one word, “service”, they write to the wrong door. A record they can check shows the split before it hides the phone number. A hidden call centre is not presented as a list.

Faults and parts are different notes

The fault form takes the machine serial and the symptom. The parts form takes the code and the quantity. If both land in one box, the workshop treats a parts order as a breakdown. If the part code already lives in a catalogue, the form points there. A second code field is not opened. Head office takes the job that has no area.

Write the area you actually cover

The city or the country a technician visits is written only as far as they go. A map is not opened for a region you do not visit. If the list is short, a city select is enough. An empty pin looks like coverage. The coverage sentence is the cities in the table, not “the whole country”.

Out of the first release

Live location, an appointment calendar and a customer portal stay closed unless the workshop really uses them. The sales-dealer map does not mix into this page. That is a separate list. The first release is a depot someone can check, and two notes.

The network is not decoration on the company frame. The frame is the work of B2B web development. The service record stands apart inside that frame. It is not buried in a logo strip.

The table and the readers

Depot name, city, authorisation, who reads a fault, who reads a part. If the authorisation column is empty, the row is not published. Discovery does not fill a missing depot.

The list is built under website development. The part-code item is in the spare-part catalogue.

Questions companies ask

Is a sales dealer a service depot?

No. A sales dealer and a service depot are different rows. If they share a door, the buyer goes to the wrong place.

Do we need a map?

If the list is short, a city select is enough. A pin is not opened for a region you do not visit.

One form for faults and parts?

No. A fault takes the serial and the symptom. A part takes the code and the quantity. One box mixes them.

Can a depot edit its own row?

Not in the first release. The list is the table you supply. Edit rights are written separately.

Do we launch booking now?

Not unless the workshop actually uses a calendar. An unused calendar is a promise of empty hours.
