Contract manufacturing site: lot size, materials, and the lead window

Y.Emre Konar · contract manufacturing capacity page

A contract manufacturing page states the process, the materials, the minimum lot and when the clock starts. Invented throughput stays off.

Before a buyer writes, a contract manufacturing page has to answer four things: the process you run, the materials you take, the minimum lot, and when the lead window starts. Without them the form is an introduction. HED Creative writes the sentences from what you supply. Berlin and Ankara use one record.

The capacity sentence

Capacity is not a monthly boast. Write which line takes which work, how the shift is described in a quote, and which work you refuse. A tonnage or a count stays off the page until sales confirms it. An unconfirmed rate falls apart in the first call. Keep the sentence short. Open a table only if you already keep a real one.

Materials and the process

The buyer looks for the material name and the process name on the same record. “Metalworking” does not open a quote. Turning, welding, coating, assembly: if sales quotes them apart, they are separate lines. Materials you do not take are written too, so the wrong note is refused on day one. The list comes from you. The agency does not invent a material.

Minimum lot and the clock

A minimum lot is not a public price. “We do not discuss below this quantity” or “the lot is set in the quote” is enough. Lead time states when the clock starts: approval, arrival of material, or delivery of the tool. A day count is not invented. If you have no rule, the field stays empty.

The note carries the four lines

The form takes process, material, an estimated quantity and the date they need. One open box holds the rest. A drawing can be attached, and it is not required. The note lands with the person who quotes contract work. A shared info box loses the lot.

Out of the first release

No customer logo without permission, no live capacity counter, no price list, and no story page per sector. A certificate is not lined up in the menu until it sits beside the process. A second plant is not opened on this page as a separate brand.

Matching the page to the query people type is a separate scope. Put it on the SEO brief. A position is not part of that brief. The page answers the query. A rank is not sold.

Four lines for discovery

Process list, material list, lot rule, and what starts the clock. A missing line is marked out of scope. It is not invented. Add the name of the person who reads the note.

The page is built under website development. Where a document sits beside the job is in certificates and sheets.

Questions companies ask

Should we publish a tonnage?

Not until sales confirms it. Capacity is which line takes which work. An invented rate falls apart in the first call.

Can we hide the minimum lot?

If you have a rule, write it. If not, “the lot is set in the quote” is enough. A boast does not filter the wrong note.

Must lead time be a fixed number of days?

No. Write what starts the clock. An invented day count stays off.

Do we name customers?

Not without permission. An unapproved logo or an invented reference is not written.

Does every process need a page?

Processes sales quotes separately, yes. A small step on the same line can share a record.
