A Google Business Profile is the map pin and the company’s name, phone and address. It does not replace the website. A buyer cannot find the scope of a service, the timing or the counterpart in the short description on the profile. Those live on the service page. The profile is the door to that page. The door does not carry the room.
The three match the site
The name, phone and address on the profile are written the same way as on the contact page. A street on one and only a district on the other makes the buyer think there are two offices. If you have two offices — Berlin and Ankara, for example — each office has its own profile. One does not borrow the other’s address.
What the profile holds
Opening hours, directions, a short category and the website address. The category is the closest one to the work you do. An unrelated category brings visits from the wrong search. The website address is your domain. It does not point at an agency intermediary page.
No fake reviews
A review is a line a customer writes from their own account. A purchased review, or one opened by staff, damages the profile and the site. HED Creative does not arrange reviews for the Berlin or Ankara office. Removing a review you did not want and adding a fake one are not the same job.
Why the page stays
The service page carries the scope, the process and the path to an enquiry. The profile does not hold that text. Updating the profile and leaving the page empty means you appear on the map and do not answer the question. The month’s work is that the three stay consistent and the page is still published. It is not a promise of position.
To check, the admin mailbox of the profile, the contact page, and the real addresses of the offices are enough. The admin mailbox is on the company domain. The company owns the profile.
Keep the profile apart from the site in the SEO agency scope. The rest of being found: Google visibility for companies.
