Moving every table produces two numbers in the morning and a floor that will not open the screen. The decision is which single record travels, and in which direction. In a production company that record is the open-order position, the quantity on hand, or the dispatch note. The other two stay where they are.
Which one hurts this week
If sales promises a day the floor never sees, the open-order position goes first. If purchasing buys because the sheet is wrong, the quantity on hand goes first. If customers call about the truck, the dispatch note goes first. When all three hurt, you still pick one. The second is a later decision. Direction is one sentence
The record is either born inside and travels as a position into the ERP, or it is born in the ERP and the screen only reads it. If both sides may type the same field, the morning shows two numbers. The home of the field is named in the scope. The other side reads. A file can be a temporary bridge when there is no door. The bridge is not presented as the lasting link.
The field name is not written before the ERP name and version are. The name of the door is not fixed before the repository is opened in the company’s name. The link is part of the custom software brief. What a link is, as distinct from connecting everything, sits in what an ERP link moves.
Fields the screen actually shows
The first release carries the fields people already shout about. It does not invent a new vocabulary. If the open-order position is chosen: number, line, the day that was promised, the day the floor sees. If quantity on hand: material, place, quantity, the day it was counted. If dispatch: the loading, the day it left, a note for the miss. The three lists do not share the first screen.
Left out of the first release
The bill of materials, payroll, maintenance, the quality file and a two-way copy of every module are out. Quality is another screen. The week of load is another screen. This record does not stand in for them. A list that says all modules means the work does not start.
The sample to send
The ERP name, the kind of record, the direction, and one sample line. The useful line is the one that already looks different in two places. Discovery in Berlin or Ankara picks the home of the field from that line. A second record, if you want it, is written beside the first. It is not added to the first line.
