Searching for an IT partner or software partner is not the same as collecting a one-off website quote. Partnership is the care and evolution of software, web, ads or in-house apps over time. Choosing the wrong model — buying only a project when you need continuity, or stuffing unclear scope into a retainer — burns both budget and speed.
Name the work first. A new product or site wants a closed scope: discovery, delivery, acceptance. Keeping a live system healthy wants monthly capacity: patches, sprints, ads operations. A good digital partner offers both and will tell you which one is right now.
Ask who owns the outcome. If an agency runs ads, a software house runs tickets and a freelancer owns the UI, nobody is accountable end to end. An IT / software partner should be able to combine software, web, ads and app spines on purpose. They do not have to do everything — they do have to go deep on the spines you actually buy.
Read the maintenance language. “We offer support” is not enough. Security patches, backups, performance, a bug SLA and a monthly report should be written down. For in-house apps, code access, documentation and handover must be explicit. A retainer is a visible capacity queue, not an invisible subscription.
For teams between Berlin and Ankara, language and compliance are selection criteria too. GDPR/KVKK, TR/EN/DE content and remote cadence should be discussed up front. References should show live-system care and project delivery together — not only a visual portfolio.
HED Creative frames this as digital partnership: retainer or project-based delivery across software, web, ads and in-house apps. Review the models on our partnership page and book a discovery call. The useful question is not “who is cheapest”, but “who still owns this in six months”.
